On Track for Just a Little More Waiting

The Chinese Center for Children's Welfare and Adoption where our paperwork was first received in September of 2006 now has all documents required to grant us permission to travel to China to adopt Jenna. We now await Travel Approval. They received the last needed document yesterday just in time for Chinese New Year. Government offices are closed for one week in observance of Chinese New Year, so we anticipate waiting about three to four weeks to get our approval to travel. Once we get our approval to travel, we will work with our agency to submit our top five appointment preferences to the American Consulate in Guangzhou to obtain Jenna's visa for coming to the United States. Once that appointment has been secured, our actual travel dates can be determined. Our agency has given us a tentative travel date of March 28, but that could be off a week or so in either direction. Continued prayers for God to help prepare Jenna for our arrival are appreciated.
